About Farm Assist:

Necessity is the mother of invention. I offer products which I need, use and assume others will too. The dietary needs of people eating gluten free are my primary concern. This Gingerbread is filling and highly nutritious with iron, fiber, vitamin C, and protein. It is also anti-inflamatory. My products are a cottage industry in Dundee, Omaha. Baking from a home kitchen that is not certified by the Douglas County Health Department.

General Practices:

I do not have a commercial kitchen certified by the Douglas Co. Health Dept. but do practice excellent sanitation practices. I do not use a dough enhancer or preservatives. Gingerbread is freezer wrapped while still warm and frozen prior to sell date. Using the highest quality whole foods and local foods wherever possible. I use no hydrogenated oils, no gluten, and no table sugar, eggs or dairy.

Ingredients:

Gingerbread: sorghum,tapioca,white rice, and sweet rice flours; organic evaporated cane sugar, chickory root, millet flour; molasses, Agave,freshly milled flax seed, freshly milled chia seed, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, baking powder, carbonated water, ground almonds, gluten free dry active yeast, cornstarch, ground ginger, ground cinnamon,apple cider vinegar (distilled), ascorbic acid (from crushed vitamin C tablet), xantham gum, sea salt
