We are not certified, but follow organic practices. No chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers are used. Fertilization is done with compost, animal/green manures. Pests are managed by rotation planting and companion planting and mulching. Additional Information Our goal is to leave our land richer and more fertile than when we bought it in 1999. Sustainability is an important concept in not only providing us with food, but also food for generations to come. We use biological methods to increase the fertility and build the soil to enhance all kinds of life within it. |
