We wanted to be able to provide customers with chemical free produce, and high quality meats. Our little garden became a six acre garden, and our Farmer's Market adventure turned into our own store in downtown Norfolk. We feature our hormone-free beef, drug-free pork, insectide and herbicide free produce, as well as a large variety of baked goods such as gourmet cookies and cheesecakes, soups, salsa, relish and jellies. We have 24 vendors who raise or make their own products and sell in our store as well. It is a "Country Market" atmosphere, and we really enjoy what we do. Our Beef are hormone free, and are fed corn and natural protein. All meat is processed at a USDA inspected facility. Our produce is grown herbicide and pesticide free, using crop rotation. Our baked goods are prepared in a certified kitchen at our store. |
