Mutton is traditionally lamb that is over 2 years old, it is a richer more flavorful meat that is gaining popularity, especially in Europe, and is now seeing more interest in the US. Mutton is in many parts of the world more common than lamb, as lamb is seasonal while mutton is year round and generally less expensive as well. Our butcher did not have labels that said �mutton� so everything says lamb.. but all of this is not a lamb but a young mutton. Bone- In Leg of Lamb between four and five lbs each

From Asparagus to Zucchini is an excellent resource put together by the Madison (WI) Area Community Supported Agriculture Coalition. It would be awesome to someday think about our very own NFC putting together a local version of the same thing! The book is soft-cover, 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches in size, 228 pages, and last revised in 2004, so is up-to-date. Here are several sample pages that are available to review:
