Heirloom vegetable plants, flowers, perennials, shrubs, trees, produce as available. About Us I love learning above all and there is always something new to learn, new to grow, new to experience. To date, Fox Crossing has primarily supported my activities with the Plattsmouth Garden Club where I designed and now support the Veteran's Memorial Garden in Garfield Park. Garfield Park is a historic presidential park located above the downtown area in Plattsmouth. My propagation efforts have expanded as the garden has evolved. My concern for healthy food production led me to produce my own vegetables and learning to process food while maintaining it's nutritional value. It all starts with the plants, the garden, and the methods used in the garden. Browse through our Products for Sale Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) In the products I produce I create all of the soil-less mixes myself with peat, perlite and vermiculite. I am experimenting with different fertilizers to determine which I prefer at this time. They include Miracle gro, Tomato's plus from Garden's Alive, and whey. Mulch is used to control weeds. I believe strongly in using Heirlooms as much as possible, saving seed, and I encourage the propagation of Nebraska native trees, shrubs and plants.
