Artisan Sourdough Breads About Us Wise Oven Bakery is located in the Historic Havelock District at 6220 Havelock Avenue in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our retail store is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 12-5 pm and can be found in the back of the "Against the Wall Art Gallery". Our goal, here at Wise Oven, is to offer our community unique breads made with all natural ingredients and baked the "old world" style in a wood-fired oven. We believe that authentic sourdough bread, leavened with true sourdough cultures, provides the necessary nutrients to feed the body, as well as the spirit. Browse through our Products for Sale Practices (our standards for raising or making our products) Our sourdough breads are hand-shaped and baked in a wood-fired oven. They are made using a natural sourdough starter and with organic and local ingredients whenever possible. |
