About Us
We have owned 160 acres in Jefferson county since 1985. In 2005 we started converting the land from crop ground to certified organic pasture and received certification in August 2008. We are graduates of the first and only (so far) Nebraska Farm Beginnings program. In addition, Ralph is currently enrolled in a two-year program to become a Holistic Management Certified Educator. We are applying the Holistic Management principles and practices to our farm. We are interested in building a sustainable small farm operation and contributing to the revitalization of rural Nebraska.

Practices (our standards for raising or making our products)
We adhere to Holistic Management planned grazing, which provides for planned movement to fresh grass while also ensuring pasture has adequate time for plant recovery prior to re-grazing. This approach allows for a gradual restoration of the land.
