Calendula, or Pot Marigold has been used for thousands of years for it's healing, anti-bacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory qualities for rashes, eczema, scrapes, minor wounds, and sunburn. Calendula petals from our garden are infused with 100% Pure Olive Oil, which also benefits dry skin, and strained into recycled sterilized 5 oz. bottles. The bottles will vary in shape and material, either glass or clear plastic. My favorite use, so far is for dry elbows, knees, and feet. A few nights ago, I accidently spilled half of a jar down my leg, and instead of wasting it, I rubbed it on my elbows, legs, and feet. I had a few mosquito bites & sunburn, it stopped the itch right away. It worked better than any lotion I have used. However, you don't need to use that much! A little goes a long way. Last week I caught my heel under a metal door (ouch!) and had a 1/2" long cut. I washed it & put my oil on it, then a bandaid. The next day the gash was closed & didn't hurt at all when wearing shoes! The Calendula is chemical free, we never use chemicals in our gardens.
