Natural Habitat Bird Feeders are handmade from recycled branches that fell during storms. They blend in with the natural surroundings in the garden and add a natural look to a patio or deck. Wild birds love to perch on the branches while snacking or waiting their turn.

Each feeder will vary in size, depending on the branches used, but all have a triangle base with 3 chains for hanging.

To use: Hang from a tree branch or hook, add a shallow pan or bowl to match your outdoor decor filled with bird seed. If you position it by a window, it is fun to watch the birds. Pan not included.

Catmint is an herb that can be used to make tea. To make Catmint tea, steep rinsed leaves in boiling water for 5 minutes, or put 2-3 stems in a clear juice bottle and set outside in the sun for a few hours. In a hurry just add a few sprigs to a bottle of water and shake a lot.

Catmint (Nepeta) leaves and flowering tops are used in herbal preparations, to help induce natural sleep in humans. It contains nepetaloctone which has a calming effect. Also has been used to ease digestion, control symptoms of diarrhea, colds, infection, dandruff, headaches, and as an insect repellent. I read that it is a good body cleanse also. Check with a professional on exactly how to use Catmint.

If you rub fresh Catmint on your skin it seems to repel Mosquitoes, but your cat will not leave you alone:)

Catmint should be used with caution when given to cats to play with. The herb may produce excessive stupor and even convulsions in cats if given in excess.

Tip for cat toy: Place 1 Tablespoon or less dried Catmint in a 6 inch square of scrap fabric, roll up, tie ends securely with string. Leave one string extra long.

Another idea for free cat toy: use a small old sock with about a Tablespoon or less of Catmint, tie a knot in it, attach a long string.

No chemicals are ever used in our gardens.

To preserve: Hang small groups of Catmint sprigs to dry.

I like to pressure cook ribs to tenderize and then either bake in oven with a homemade BBQ sauce (I will send the recipe) or dump a jar of home canned kraut over the top and heat all together. Calendula Oil For Dry Skin, Skin Conditions, & Wrinkles 4 Oz.
Calendula has been used for thousands of years for it's healing, antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory qualities for rashes, eczema, psoriasis, scrapes, minor wounds, and sunburn. Calendula petals from our garden are infused with 100% Pure Olive Oil, which also benefits dry skin, for several weeks, and strained into 4 oz. bottles with a flip top lid.

My favorite use, so far is for wrinkles, dry elbows, knees, and feet. One night I accidentally spilled half of a jar down my leg, and instead of wasting it, I rubbed it on my elbows, legs, and feet. I had a few mosquito bites & sunburn, it stopped the itch right away. It worked better than any lotion I have used. However, you don't need to use that much! A little goes a long way.

My latest use: I have been massaging it in an upward motion on my face in the AM and PM after washing my face (with my new Shea Butter soap). Then I blot it with a towel. I can barely notice the frown line and the wrinkles!

It feels good to know I am not rubbing chemicals into my skin, like most face creams.
